There was an abundance of Queen Anne's Lace this past year. Great to paint.
The demo was starting at 11 am and I was stretching the canvas at 10! I got there only to find quite a few guests. Everything worked out just fine and it was a lot of fun except that I kept getting in the way!
Here is the result of the demo I did for the CPAPS show held at Hartford Fine Art and Frame. The original plein air painting is on the right, a 16x16. The demo painting, a 14x14, (I know I will be sorry about that size), is on the left. It seemed right for the time..
Morning Painting everything I wanted to paint. This is the first shot, haven't gone back for more yet. Still thinking about it. 16x16 oil on canvas
Painted for a Land Trust benefit for Haley Farm in Noank, CT.

and another one!
The next day I started this one. This one took two shots instead of one. I had originally thought of doing a painting per day by moving my easel in increments full circle. I wore out my welcome though.. and the new part came in and everything changed. Oh well.
